Monday was just easy and laid back. I moved into Gabbi and Jo's apartment and we met up with some of their friends for brekkie. Jo had to study for a big test, so Gabbi and I drove up and the coast and goofed around. The wind was blowing a gale, so there were lots of windsurfers and kiteboarders out.

Okay, maybe its best if I have a chaperone from now on. I will be taking applications until the end of the week. I was wondering around last night and of all the gin joints in all the world, I found a crazy one! There were people with 80's haircuts and clothes, but that was mild. Today was huge! First off was the Immigration Museum. Australia is still a country of immigrants and has a very colorful history in dealing with all the issues that entails. Even today, 1/4 of all Aussies weren't born here. Fittingly, it is in the old Customs House, a beautiful building. Next, I made off for the Old Melbourne Gaol. It was erected in the 1800's and looks it. Its even scarier than the Shawshank Redemption jail. They have different displays ...

Today was a travel day even though I wasn't going far. The morning was about relishing every last second of having a full sized bed and privacy. After packing and fixing up some last moment things, we loaded up and went all of 10 km to Barwon Heads for lunch. It was wonderful. I had chicken wrapped in prosciutto (I know it can't be spelled right, but thats ok as spelling does not detract from taste)! The bad part was that the chicken was raw in the middle...
