Took the bus from Melbourne bus station at 8:00am to Adelaide.
It was a 12hr trip but got to see lots of the countryside and had some stop offs to break it up a bit.
Saw some kangaroos for the first time so that was exciting!
There was a guy on our bus who was pretty much talking or playing loud music for the whole twelve hours, he was probably about our age and said that he had never left victoria, he got pretty excited when we crossed the border into south Australia which reminded me how lucky we are to be seeing the other side of the world....having to pinch myself regularly!
Arrived in Adelaide at about 8pm and were met by Bob and Nancy who are putting us up. So tired after the long journey that we had a cuppa and then pretty much hit the sack!

Tony and Beryl You'll be getting too used to this. You could travel the full length of the UK - Isle of Wight to Scotland in 12 hours. Makes you think about how vast Australia is, so no moaning if you've got to take a trip to London or Southampton!!!! As usual you appear to be having a wonderful time.
