Hello!This is officially my last blog from san francisco and my last from america!!Yeh my last day here ends in approx 1hr with our trip to the airport!!Anyway, our last full day doing the sights was yesterday. We got up early and headed down to Pier 33 for our Alcatraz trip, was a lovely day and got a great view of all of san fran and other areas from the boat. Alcataraz as an attraction is ok, nothing special!We then got back and walked to Pier 39 where theres tons of wkd shops and eating places. we had lunch at Bubba Gumps which was very nice!Spent ALOT of money of things but it was all quite cheap and i been so good the whole trip!!(justifying my silly spending)We then walked down to fishermans wharf, a very famous pier section of the bay and then walked up some very steep hills to see the famous Lombard street, said to be the 'crookedest street in the world'!!Again,amazing views over the city, everywhere you look its pretty lovely, i especially like the houses. We then decided to keep up the hills to get to the high point of san fran and then it was all downhill to the hostel,knackering but lovely walk as it was sunny and hot, we been very lucky with weather the whole trip,it was unseasonably warm on the normally freezing east coast an real dry an sunny on the west!And now, the end is here!I have had an amazing trip, experienced alot of beauty, met some lovely people (and weirdos) and just been generally intrigued by what ive found!I shall see ye old english soon, reluctantly but willingly, i guess i missed people a wee bit!i was having too much fun to miss em hehe But nah,gotta show off my goodies and my 3000 photos!!xxx
