Hi y'all! We just finished our first full day in San Francisco!!I love it!We arrived afternoon time yesterday and we were so jammy, our coach driver who was just obliged to take us to a drop-off point actually drove us as close as he could to our hostel, not easy to manouevre in a huge coach!Bless him!We have had a few moments like that on this trip where we've just got lucky! We chilled in the hostel which is one of the best we stayed in and i got an AMAZING night sleep after 3 awful ones in LA (thanks to some weird german woman who stank, wore same clothes everyday and decided to come in a go to bed at 5am each night, the clubs close at 2,so yes shes weird...) The beds gorgeous and the hostels quiet at night, its only been a hostel for a year, was a hotel before that. This morning we made real pancakes as u can do as many as you like for free here!We then headed out on Dylans tour of the city, we took in first city hall where a protest was going on regarding a law which is being called into question regarding gay marriage so we got out and witnessed one of many momentous occasions relating to the future!(geek) We then went up to Twin Peaks, taking in various neighbourhoods as we went, all very multicultural and lovely architecture. Twin Peaks offered an amazing view of the city all across to the golden gate bridge and pacific ocean. We then headed off to the Haight-Ashbury, a famous hippy neighbourhood that was fulll of beatniks in the 60's and today, we drove past one of janis joplins homes too. We then went over the golden gate bridge and drove into the hills of marin county to get great pictures of the city and the bridge. We then drove to Muir woods which is lovely. We then headed back and went around a few neighbourhoods, one being home to the millionaires of san fran, we then headed back. Tomorow were off to alcatraz and fishermans wharf and maybe coit tower!Tomorow is our last full day in America which is quite scary but i wouldnt wanna be spending it anywhere else!xx
