With it being our last day in Sydney we decided to take a ferry trip across the bay to see what all the fuss about Manley was. After stuffing ourselves with yet another Gelatissimo ice cream we headed out on the ferry in superb weather that allowed us to see across the bay for miles and miles and appreciate the opera house and harbour bridge all the more Manley was quite a quirky place with some British seaside characteristics about it, except for the large number of bluebottle jellyfish in the water, and the beach volleyball being played (which one of us thinks has been the highlight of the trip so far!). We enjoyed chilling out on the beach, reading our books while sunbathing and watching the surfers from a safe distance away from those nasty jellyfish! We had a mad dash back to catch our flight to Brissie - especially since we couldn't find where to return our hire car from. Both of us got slapped with HEAVY luggage stickers when checking in as both of us are now over our baggage limit but luckily no fines to pay!
