Arrived this morning at 8.00am and spent AGES going through quarantine ("aah you're from Britain - land of the mad cows and blue tongue" they chorused) the weather here is TERRIBLE at the mo and set to be so for the next few days so we are having to think of a wet weather plan :-( Today we just pottered around the opera house and the malls (to avoid the rain). The hotel is lovely, with great views over the harbour (our room included) - although a bit grey at the moment - please say a little sunshine prayer for us!!
