I know, i know; i have been terrible at this thing. And i will go back and do a one before this, filling in the...wow....almost a month that i have not written anything. I will. Soon. But not that soon. Anyway, i just thought i would writea quick one to say what i did for my birthday. In the morning when i came into school the kids sang me happy birthday which was very cute but also a touch embaressing. Was sweet though. Its coming up to the end of term so there is quite a strange structure to the days at the moment. The foundation classes were set to work creating plays so i spent the morning covering that. In the afternoon Jenni (an english teacher here, and my sort of liason) took me out for a Spur late lunch. We normally go for a lunch out on a Wednesday, mostly to spur because theres one close to the school. Spur does burgers and steaks etc and for a customers birthday it does a whole sparkler, singing staff routine which Jenni obviously insisted i have even though i am clearly no longer five. It was funny though and made us both giggle. I shall make sure i send the pictures. In the evening I went out for a meal at a place called Madame Zingara. Was very fancy. Gareth, virginia, Kate and Lionel came. The food was so nice but after the late lunch at Spur i was so stuffed. That was basically it for my birthday. Though i keep getting presents which is nice. Kayise and Busi have something secret arranged for the 7th or the 17th of Ocotber (they keep arguing about what day it is). I think shall go back now and fill in what i did on the Saturday and Sunday before my birthday since it was so lovely.
