Before i go on, i must just say that i have gotten very fed up with the poor selection of picures and activity options (not sure if you see that bit but anyway) so i have decided to just pick very random photos that are completely irrelevant to the text of the entry. So Saturday...me and Anne (the lady I live with, Gareth mum) had the most fantastic day out. We did the proper girley thing. She took me to all the cheap shops that she has found over the years in Claremont. I found some lovely jeans (which is a miracle considering i have been looking for jeans that fit for about 5 years) and they are a legenday R40. If you divide that by about 13 you shall see the bargain they are! There was also a cute shoe shop from which i purchased 2 pairs. I know im going on a bit about the purchases but thats because i love a bargain and i am just so chuffed with the buys. Plus we found a cute pink polka dot pyjama thing that Anne has bought me for my b-day. After an exhausting morning of shopping we had lunch at a cafe place called........ and came home. Anne had stolen a recipe for tiramisu from her friend Glenda (we had had the tiramisu at that Turkey Braai im sure i mentioned before) so we attmepted to make that. I think it worked quite well. There was none of it left after a day and a half so im guessing it was that bad. The rest of the evening we just collapsed at home and i finished the book i have been reading. Sunday, Gareth and I went through to Stellenbosch (the winelands) for Breakfast at a cute little place. Stellenbosch is very green and hilly and pretty. We went home past a butterfly farm (again some nice pictures i will send). Right, im getting bugged to leave now so i better. xxx
