Since the last update Kerry and I spent several days looking around London. We spent most of a day in the British War Museum which was fascinating. I think we could have spent another day there easily. They had a very graphic and in depth section on the holocaust. We also spent quite a few hours in the British Museum. We went to see a live performance of Phanton of the Opera at Piccadilly Circus. We had both already seen shows of the Phantom before, yet enjoyed it very much. We walked around Trafalgar square and Buckingham palace. We then caught a bus from London to Newcastle which is in Northern England, not all that far from the Scottish border. The bus took most of a day to get there. Kerry had an interview with a teaching agency in Newcastle which went well. We are planning on living in a city called Durham which is about 15 miles from Newcastle, we have been in Durham for the last few days looking for a place to rent. We should have something finalised later on today. I am going to an electronics factory on monday where there is a very good chance of me getting work, and Kerry should start relief teaching within the next week probably. Durham is a lovely city (thanks for the tip Ben & Phil), with a castle smack bang in the middle of it, and a river winding its way around it. We think we will be very happy here for 6 months. Will post more info soon when we have an address.
