Hi everyone,

Started off with Andy's 3rd schoolboy error, oversleeping! We all arrived for breakfast at 6.00 and by 6.50 we had managed to find his room, bang on the door LOUDLY and get the key to the kitchen. Andy came down half an hour later and began unpacking the breakfast stuff, just after we had packed it all away again! He blamed oversleeping on being crook, but we think it was a hangover, after staying out drinking with the locals.

When we finally got underway our 1st stop was the Natural Gap and The Bridge, pretty impressive features. Then we stopped at the blowholes, pretty unimpressive! We then drove to the top of Mount Clarence to take in the views of King George Sound, the outer islands and the Albany township while Andy sat in the bus. From there we stopped at Middleton Beach and did the heritage boardwalk. Which Andy said to do at our leisure. We found out the reason why - when we got back he was in the cafe tucking into a fry up - hangover cure?!

Next stop was Castle Rock in the Porongurup Ranges. We managed to route march to nearly the top and back in an hour, it should have taken us over 2, but we were running very late. Andy sat in the bus making "important phone calls" in an area where you can't get phone reception!

Short trip round the corner to a winery for a bit of tasting and lunch. After lunch we hit the road and did the 5hr journey back to Perth, thankfully with a different driver!

In conclusion, the trip was a waste of money, and we're drafting our letters of complaint as we speak.

Saturday ended better than it started with a night out in Northbridge.

We have now got a job and a house to live in, both in Morley. We're living with the coach and some of the Perth footie players who play for Dally at the weekend. Our job is waitressing in a restaurant and bar.

Looking forward to a day off on Friday, as its another public holiday! The Aussies celebrate Anzac Day, in memory of the soldiers that died in Gallipoli in World War 1.
