Well we decided to do the Kiwi Experience after all. The route we are on is the Sheepdog if anyone wants to see where we are headed just google it! Auckland was pretty boring really there wasn't much to do plus it was raining! Holly went up Sky Tower and really enjoyed it but i didn't fancy it. People jumped off the edge- crazy! We then went to Mercury Bay via Thames which was really nice. The road is up in the hills and is really windy so im glad we wern't hung over or there could of been some accidents! Everywhere we've seen in New Zealand so far is so beautiful, its so green!! We visited Cathedral Cove which photos will follow but that was really pretty. Then we had one night at Turtle Cove hostel in Whitanga (i've probably not spelt that right!). An early start (7.30am) on the bus gave us enough time to have a really busy day today. We went for a walk i the old gold mines across a swing bridge, our bus driver, Spud thought it was hillarious to jump and swing it when we were trying to walk across. We did Luging this afternoon which is when you go upto the top of a big hill in a Gondula which i would call a skycar, then come back down on a three wheeled go cart very fast. They are absoltuly awsome we loved them! Theres three different tracks, to start with you have to go on the beginners just so they know you can use the cars, then you can go on any. holly went so slow on the first run that a kid of about 7 took over her! hehe. We had a couple of hours there, i could've gone all day on those though they were so much fun but we had an evening at a Mouri village planned. We've been there tonight, the mouri people put on a warrier show and then showed us round what a typical village used to look like. It's absolutly freezing and were used to fiji weather so it was really cold to us. The blokes were wandering round in little skirt things, the literally must have balls of steel!! Then the best part came, the food! It's all cooked in an underground oven and was absolutly georgeous. We've never eaten so much the whole time we've been travelling, i mean the muscles they had were the biggest ive ever eaten!! We've got another two nights in Roterua as theres so much to do, then we head in the direction of Taupo, possibly stopping to camp in a couple of the national parks on the way.
