Hey everyone, we drove 1000km in just over a day and are currently in Rainbow Beach only to find ourselves in the middle of a storm....We stayed in two of the weirdest camp sites, the first one had no kitchen so we ate our dinner in the laundry. Then last night we parked in a giant puddle and couldnt access the bathroom so we brushed our teeth inside the van - what a step down from the luxury of the Whitsundays!

Today our Wicked camper decided that it would jam its side door so it no longer opens, and now we can only get into the back via the drivers seats! And to top it all off our trip to Fraser Island has been postponed until the weather improves = massively gutted!! Not gonna let it get us down though, we have dinner lined up for $4 (bargain) :-)

Hopefully we'll meet some cool people in Fraser and drive the 4x4s manicly over the sand dunes before heading down towards Brisbane, Surfer's Paradise and Byron Bay - where I'm seriously hoping all the hotties are lined up! H & J x
