We went to Ski Dubai for our 'Discovery lesson' and it was great fun! Al took to it quite naturally but it took me a while to learn how to stop (two falls and a smash into Al at high speed, oops!). Once I worked out that I was using the wrong muscles, I got a lot better and started to enjoy it. The lesson was very basic.

Then we went to Bur Dubai which is the older part with souks (markets). We got a boat across Dubai Creek and checked out the Gold Souk which was amazing. TONNES of gold and diamonds. Al priced a beautiful diamond bracelet for me but, even though its cheaper than home, still out of our budget. Nice seeing it on my wrist though J

Baby: Ever popular. We think it might be good luck to kiss blonde blue-eyed babies!

Nappies: One good thing about disposables is that he has been a total poo machine, gross!!
