Harper had his first swim in the ocean then we all got ready to go 'wadi-bashing' which is driving along a track in the mountains next to an old river bed. Harper stayed home with Nin and the rest of us headed out for a couple of hours, it was very interesting - lots of rocks and goats! Then we had lunch and headed back to Dubai. The men got up early and went off fishing for the day. The women got up for a little while then went back to bed when Harper did. We woke at 11am and rushed around to get ready for massages. Harper woke early so Al and I took him for a walk along the beach to look in rock pools. We saw turtles sticking their heads up while feeding and later Al went snorkelling with them. We all went for a drive to have coffee at a nice hotel then pizzas at another motel. Yummy and cheap! After lunch, we drove around some more then back to our villa. We packed our gear and headed off for our holiday to Fujairah, one of the Eastern Emirates. We were originally staying in a ritzy resort but they stuffed up our booking and all the other fancy places were too expensive so we ended up at the Holiday Beach Motel.
