2021 on the road still
Hi
This is a general post to let you know what Annie and Derek are doing over the next 3 to 4 weeks.
Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) have asked us to caretake Charnley River Station conservation reserve until relief staff can arrive from interstate. This should be mid February.
We are flying from Perth to Broome on Tuesday, driving from Broome to Derby , then helicopter to the station.
We will be the only people at the station.
We have phone and internet access and will send a few photos of our experience.
A bit of an adventure during the wet season. Rain every day and high humidity with temperatures in the mid 30s. There is a swimming hole and the house has airconditioning. We are looking forward to the adventure.
Take care. All the best.
