We left the suburb of Hocking on Tuesday 12 April 2022. A late start after shopping and fuel. Travelling has definitely become more expensive with fuel prices.

Above one of the shop doors is a lead glass window with the British Flag and a motorbike of unknown manufacture.
A tradition in York is to invite a Japanese artist at harvest's end to construct a sculpture of a native animal from the stubble of the wheat crop. The sculptures are quite large, about 2.5 metres high This is a tradition from Japan.

KWOLYN
Our first night's camp was at Kwolyn, a lovely free camp with toilets and hot showers, tables and chairs. It was the site of an old town with only the cemetery and church remaining.
