Approximately 80 kms East of Esperence is a caravan park called the Duke of Orleans. To the east of the caravan park lies the Orleans Bay and to the west lies Wharton Beach The caravan park used to have an excellent reputation however under the new owners who put up the prices and are allowing the park to become shabby visitors including us were extremely disappointed See photos labelled Wharton Beach and Orleans Bay
Spending another morning in Esperance considering repairs to the caravan wasn't much fun. Two new springs are on their way from Caloundra, the nuts holding the brake calipers have been tightened and one replaced, and two rivets replaced in the drinking water tank. We will have the springs replaced in January. After that the trip from Esperance to Fitzgerald was uneventful. By this stage however your truly is really starting to flag.
