Busy day again today. This morning we went to some disease free buffalo which had been tested for TB last week but needed to be checked for the result. We couldn't really do anything to help as we had been in a foot and mouth zone with the giraffe so had to stay away from the buffalo to prevent any chance of passing it on. This morning we left at 6am to go and capture more giraffe. We were supposed to do 10 today, but they had difficulty finding then and it wasn't economically a good idea to spend money using the helicopter to look for them as giraffe aren't very valuable. So we just did 4. I helped to take blood. Hopefully I will get better at that! Then this afternoon we went to dehorn some white rhino. Last morning at Moholoholo - for real this time! Walked down to the rehab centre from where I was staying. Played with the serval cat and her kitten for a bit. They are lively. Today I helped rescue 2 honey badgers. They had been found on a pig farm and if we didn't collect them the farmer would just shoot them. Moholoholo have rescued 9 from that farm in a year. Pretty standard day apart from that!
