A bit of a busier day today!! We left this morning and went to check on the lame giraffe. It seems much better today. We then went to look at the suni antelopes with the abscesses. Unfortunately one of them died yesterday. So the vet had to dart the other one to look at it. Today we didn't do an awful lot. We were supposed to be darting and looking at some Suni antelope with abscesses, but it rained ALL day! And they are likely to get very ill when sedated in such damp cold weather. The weather also meant we could not dehorn any rhino. Today we were supposed to be going to dehorn some more rhino, but another one of the giraffes we captured had died. So the vet had to go and help remove it. So we ran out of time to do rhino so we ended up just having a relaxed day. It was nice. I managed to get my blog all up to date which is good!

We didn't have any vet stuff to do today, so we rented a car and drove to white river to a shopping centre with lots of little craft type shops. It was pretty cute. Then we went to watch transformers 3 at the cinema in Nelspruit. It felt strange to be in such a normal environment again!! Not long now until I'm home...!

Another full day. This morning we went to the lab to sort out what we needed to dart 7 waterbuck, then mass capture 20 more waterbuck and 10 zebra.
