Well woke up feeling quite hungover this morning and rudely awaken by Wesley singing away in the shower, It's been quite a hectic few days. Wes's totally got the hang of the roads now and it seems such a breeze riding around. I haven't tried the scooter yet but will be giving it a go at some point. In the last few days we've managed to see more of the island and found a lovely quiet beach yesterday with small islands that we could swim to. We swam to a small island from the beach but was kinda scared as we kept standing on seaweed and probably small animals as we couldn't see the bottom of the sea which was just as well ha. Wesley also scraped his callus foot on a rock. Later on we we're taken out by the couple next door (a Danish guy and his Thai girlfriend) which happen to love reggae. They showed us some brilliant bars - one of them on the beach and all were full of bob Marley pictures and Jamaican flags. Even the Thai workers there had grown dreadlocks - it's like been at home lol. Its also quite nice to see how well cultured the Thai's are. We went to an actual reggae club with a live band from New York and Jamaica which was fab. We also ventured into a street full of bars which was a sight. You've got lady boys and Thai women strutting around and hula-hooping and you really can't tell which is which. There's lots of older men with young Thai wife's so it's quite educational as one may say lol. We both drunk quite allot last night, people here drink these things called buckets which is a small bucket filled to the brim with alcohol of your choice. Nicola! You would love it! I finished a whole one as did Wesley so by the end of the night we really needed to eat...... So popped into McDonald's and Burger King and off we went home..... Very British ;-) speak soon people x
