Got up and ready today and took sonny bill (our hired car) back to the depot. Was a scorching day Auckland, really sunny and warm! Went a walk and had a nosy at The Cloud, which is a massive fanzone made so that people can go watch the games. Was pretty cool then just walked along the front for a bit. Today graeme went mountain biking with rob so hes getting the privelge of writing a bit about that! I just stayed in hotel and did some washing, then went out and walked around auckland for a bit. Went into town to internet cafe and did a bit of shopping. There was an indian festival on and they had lots of food stalls which looked amazing, was gutted that i was already full up with my egg sandwich from the bakers! got some rugby things to wear to the match then ...

Got up and had breakkie today. Omg I thought I'd killed Daphney! She was outside looking for more bread so out I went giving her the other half of the slice she got yesterday, then she bloody starts choking! Uh oh! I watched her for bit then realised there was nothing I could do so went back inside! But looked out 5 mins later and she was ok! Thank god lol! Left Sandspit and went a drive along to Omaha beach then pikiri beach. Some lovely beaches and very peacef...

Had another long lie today, very relaxing! Was nice weather so had breakfast outside on our wee bench. Daphney the duck came along and got some bread so she was quite chuffed with that! Felt a bit sorry for her as she had a limp so she got half a slice of bread. Went a walk along Sandspit, some really nice houses! Left Hamilton today about 12pm and made our way up past Auckland. Had been to paihai up the top before on this bus the last time but not anywhere in between there and auckland so we decided to explore that region a bit! Made our way on the Coastal route to Auckland. Stopped in a few wee places to look at views and also had some leftover pizza to eat from last night! Then drove on to a wee place, Sandspit, that Jonathan and Julie had recommended and it was nice! ...
