Graeme round the world
Day 9
Flying to Galapagos, two flights a couple of hours. Total flights now 8.
I have had the most amazing time in the Galápagos Islands.into the airport the tourquoise waters looked so inviting. Our boat was desigened for 16 passengers and we only had 7 so we had more crew than guests and a cabin each. There were two sets of newly weds, Sara and John from London and Foros and Jennifer from Toronto, plus Ingrid ex army from Norway who loved to smim back from the beach to the boat and finally Erica, Posh Totty from London who at 23 has travelled the world many times over and gave us all great entertainment by her losing it when things went wrong. A great bunch of people and I loved their company. First stop in the afternoon was Batra Island where we saw Iguana, thousands of brightly coloured crabs, flamingo and went snorkling. Foros cut his leg open on the sharp rocks and had to go to hospital on another Island for stitches!
