So I accidently went shopping today. Or I may have gone on the internet to search for cheap clothes, wrote down the directions then spent an hour looking for it. Either way, I went shopping. But I managed to spend practically nothing. I was in desperate need of socks (another crucial thing I didn't think to pack) and a jacket. The shops are amazing here though!

(side note: apparently there are like 8 different sizes of socks...I didn't know this and got ones that are too small. Whatever. I am squeezing my feet into those 7.50 euro socks. Also, why are socks so expensive?)

So my host family eats a lot. Full blown meals 4 times a day...maybe the average American eats that, but I definitely don't. I skip breakfast (bad, bad laura, I know..), eat a normal one portion lunch, then whatever for dinner. They comment about it everytime I talk to them. They think the only thing I really like is chocolate. Hah! Apparently I need to cut back on the sweets... and today they found out that I don't like french fries and have never been to Disney World, so they called me "Americana falsa" (fake American).
