If amazing art work, live music, yoga, happy locals, cheap massages, most amazing fresh organic food, all set in a beautiful town in the Balinese mountains isn't your thing, don't ever come to Ubud.
The market stores and shops are full of the most beautiful painting, sculptures and instruments, all hand made and the best thing is they don't hassle you to buy anything!
Me and Franks were instantly in love with the town of Ubud as soon as we arrived and it was the perfect place to spend four days chilling out before Gili T. It was also a more comfortable temperature than Vietnam as it was in the mountains.
On the first night we checked in and visited a Cubian restaurant that had a live band playing and beautiful food. This is also where we had our first Bingtang, the national Indonesians beer. Better than Cambodian but not as good as the Vietnamese's Siagon! We headed back to the hostel bar and enjoyed some amazing covers from the hostels band (a group of cool, musician, weed lovers) and had a few more Bingtangs before heading to bed.
