After my big night the night before I woke up fairly late, and had a quick shower before I jumped on the metro to meet my Chile chauffeur Cris at another station to head to Valparaiso.
The bus ride to Viña was only an hour and a half, but unfortunately the weather was no where near as good in Viña as it was in Santiago, so my sundress and jandals really didn't cut the mustard in 9 degree weather....what a gringo! We walked along the beach in Viña which was really lovely despite the cloudy and cold weather, and they had horse drawn carts everywhere. There was a big white casino on the corner on the beach front which looked like alot of fun. Its a shame i have no money left! We caught another public but to get to Con Con where I had the biggest piece of salmon I've ever had, cooked to perfection, for about $15! After that we jumped on yet another bus to Valparaiso.
Valparaiso was a beautiful little town, with little semi-attached apartments in all different vibrant colours. We wandered around a bit aimlessly until we found a cute little chocolate shop and had a hot chocolate and some dulce de leche. Finally, we'd had enough of this lovely town, and headed back to the bus stop for a 2 hour ride back to Santiago.
It was a lovely end to an amazing trip, 3 months touring around my new favourite continent - SOUTH AMERICA!
