Today's photo- last waves of the day at Port.
Planned to post the photo I took this morning of our feathered friends the Tawny Frogmouths but following recent derogatory comments about their drinking habits decided to spare them further humiliation.
Departed Nambucca Heads 0800 but lost nearly an hour with shopping stops.
Travelled via Pacific Hwy to Clybucca where we returned to roads less travelled. Eventually back to the highway until we reached Port Macquarie.
Tempted to continue to Taree, but potential for fishing and fossiking looked good and I had had enough of driving so booked into a beautifully sited and expensive park right on the beach.
Rigged up the new combo and headed for the seawall. A near gale had set in, so only stuck with it for half an hour and gave up in favour of a fossik on the main beach.
Sheltered from the gale it was a very pleasant couple of hours and reasonably productive - one silver ear ring and a good quantity of coin.
Still windy (2045) but warm. Hawthorn leading by 17 pts.

Wayne Still blowing a gale down here with heavy scudding rain. 50ks an hour again today and the forecast doesn't look much better for the rest of the week. Oh go on post the pic of the owls I was only joking:):):) Didn't stay up to see who won last night. No doubt will read all about it today. What is the price of silver? You must have quite a haul stashed away by now!?
