We drove down the east coast today calling in to Byron bay, crowded as, couldn't park, it's so hard when you have a trailer on, to find a large enough space and most of the parks are 45degree angle parking. We stopped at Lennox head a bit further south for coffee, its a bit smaller but a very nice surfing town, coffee was good! We drove through coffs harbour where the big banana is it hasn't changed in 36 years since we were here last but the town has grown massively. We drove to the next town sawtell which is nice and we decided to stay the night. We stopped to check out a park, when a young man pulled up beside us and told us to keep driving to the end of town, where there is a much better park . He was right, it is right on the beach where a river comes out quieter and plenty of room. Tomorrow we are meeting Lyn and John at Forster where they are holidaying with her sister Diane in their time share.
