We had a lovely relaxing stay at pacific palms and recharged our batteries. Yesterday we drove around the many beach coves in this area. We stopped for lunch at 'frothies coffee' at a boat club, a quaint little spot on one of the many lakes in the area. It was a very windy day and quite cool I actually had to put on long sleeves for the first time in weeks. John came over for dinner but the rest were sick with colds. We had a good chin wag and he gave us advice for the rest of our journey including how to avoid Sydney traffic. Pacific palms was a very beautiful part of n.s.w. and we would have missed it if we had stayed on the highway, thanks to Lyn and John for bringing it to our attention.
We left P P at 8:30 am this morning and hope to do some serious driving west today on our way towards s.a.
Arrived in Yass late this afternoon, the weather forecast for tonight is rain so we decided to stay in a motel to avoid packing up wet canvass in the morning. Everything going well we should be home by Wednesday night.
