We have been very very busy since we left the gorgeous Margaret River on Saturday morning. We all enjoyed Margie Riv-there was something for everyone to enjoy. It is a must for me especially to re-visit one day! We ventured to Bunker Bay cafe for breakfast on our way to Busselton and we all agreed it was superb! The Busselton jetty is 2km in length each way so it was a great way to break up the trip on Saturday to Perth, especially since the weather was finally perfect for us and starting to warm up. Jack and Paul were envious of all the people fishing all along the jetty! We arrived at our wonderful friends home-Allan, Tamara, Nicholas and Jeremy Shaw- in Sorrento, not far from Perth. They have been the best hosts over the last 2 days showing us a guided tour of all of Perth's fabulous beaches, Subiaco, East Perth, King's Park, whiteman's park, Guilford (like Bowral), Sandalford winery (yes another one), Hillary's marina and it has certainly been entertaining to say the least!! The Shaw's have walkie talkies and there has been the funniest commentary and banter between Allan (code name Big Daddy) and Paul (Big Dog). Tamara is Ghostrider, I'm Mother Hen, Jack- Rooster, Isabelle-chicken little, Nick-cannonball, Jeremy-sidekick. What a hoot we have had! It has been nice to wash all our gear and feel "clean" again and get a taste of a big bed again, if only for a few days. Last night we were spoilt by our friends Matt and Megan, who have moved to Perth from Terrigal. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and great company with their gorgeous girls Elise and Monique. Paul and Matt had lots of Qantas talk to catch up on too! We are currently having drinks and preparing for a BBQ. The car is booked in for a service tomorrow so we plan on a day at Freemantle. This is exhausting but I'm not complaining!
