After exmouth we went to cape Keraudren (80 mile beach) for two nights. It wasn't a proper caravan park just a basic reserve. The first night was really cold and the morning was very windy. The day was 30 deg and very nice. We explored the reserve, visiting mosquito creek, firewood creek and the boat ramp area. This is where the longest fence in the world started-the rabbit fence. We went hooking for mud crabs and threw in some crab pots in the mangroves. We had no luck. The tides were so big at 80 mile beach that in the morning the boat ramp was full of water and in the afternoon, it was empty. We walked along the beach and collected shells and watched the sun set. We met 2 nice families that have been on the road for 12 months! We have just arrived in Broome where it is 32 deg so we had a swim in the pool to cool off.
