re: photo from 08 July 2012Dorothy Tanner Hi Jack, Enjoyed reading your comments on the visit to the “Katherine School of the Air”, that you were able to watch a DVD, with the Guide giving information on the programmes. Homesteads, have always been a fascination to me, all that land, so far away from cities etc., seems like a wonderful environment for a child to learn the freedom of living! Trust you enjoyed the “Mums slow cooked lamb shanks”!! Oh , how fortunate to see those "tawny frog mouth owls”, what a treat. Sun is shining, still cloudy, little Roy & I got up to run earlier, however, it was raining, decided to check emails, catch up with you guys then get our run in. We both got “drowned” Thursday - Roy was not too happy!! Love to all D & R XXXXOOOO
re: Katherine, Northern TerritoryNan That was very interesting Jack and Isabelle - good to see they now have computers for School of the Air. Can you imagine how difficult it would have been in the old days via the actual Air (ie radio) - your education is so easy!! Love Nan xxxx PS say hello to the Cam fam when you see them xxxx
