On Wednesday, we left Port Augusta and set off for a 4hr journey to Streaky Bay. Along the way we encountered a dust storm and saw lots of tumble weeds. Then it started raining! The rain was only light though, so we could set up and admire the beautiful bay. Our caravan is only about 5 metres from the water and the park is very clean and the showers are very hot. We went for a walk along the beach. Dad and I skimmed rocks across the flat bay with the rocks skimming 10 times. We had to be careful not to hit the pelicans! We got back to the van and got ready to go to the pub to watch the state of origin. The pub was built in 1844. I had crumbed chicken and it was really good. It was cosy there because it had a fire place and a comfy lounge.
Today we are off to see Murphy's Haystacks.
