I can tell you that it was'nt just easy leaving Shambhala after three months on board. The people we've been traveling with (Nick, Sophie and Pete) have been great, and saying goodbye to them was quite sad to be honest. The biggest chapter of our epic adventure has now come to an end. Today we left "the Shambler" and took the bus down to Brisbane where we're going to pick up our camper van tomorrow. The 3 months on the sailboat has been fantastic and something we will remember as long as we live. More detailed blog will come in a couple of days! 36 days left of our journey by the way!
Hey everyone! The S/V "Shambhala" and her mighty crew has finally arrivied to the final destinantion of their journey, namely Mooloolaba in Queensland, Australia. Hello again! After some days on the Great Barrier Reef outside Cairns, we caught a northenly wind, so we went south to the Withsundays stopping in a small town called Bowen to resupply. Now we're in Airlie Beach, which is the main point of entry to the Whitsunday Islands for backpackers and other tourists.
