We have now spent 3 full days inOsaka. Day 1 (friday) Matt and I decided to be brave and venture around on our own. We went on a ferris wheel (like the London eye), did some shopping and visited a castle.
Wandering round the shops the thing I found most interesting was the fashion. The japanese dress so well?especially the women,?although they very often wear heels which makes their knees point in, we have noticed! In the shopping mall we also visited an arcade of which we have now found there are loads. In this part was a really funky photobooth where you can take little pictures of yourself then funk them up with anamations and digital effects. We spent around half an hour doing this and I am addicted!! We got about 16 minitures on a 6x4 sheet which we can cut out and which are stickers!
We then visted Osaka-jo (castle) with Ben`s help via text to catch the right train. It looked kind of like the one in this picture but not quite as fancy.
Yesterday (Saturday) Ben gave us his tour. We took in the huge electronic store, and found such an amazingly cheap digital camera that we are both now the proud owners of it. 10x optical zoom, 7.0 megapixels, 100 pounds less than in the UK!! Bargin. We also visited the more nitty-gritty areas of Osaka in cluding `Love Hotels` which charge by the hour (when I saw visited I mean walk past!). We saw an inner city driving range and an inner city shrine. We then hit the electronics district full of all it`s neon lights.
