We've been out of Wifi reach for the last few days so it's catch up time. Surprisingly France really isn't up with the play with wifi and so it has been quite difficult at times to write our blog, for Brodie to do mathletics and to just look things up on the Internet. Another five hour drive south east towards Provence and really our last destination before returning to Paris and home. I can't believe how fast time has sped by and although I could continue travelling through France for much longer I am aware that both Sophie and Brodie are a little homesick and are hankering for some chill time. The aperitif hour is quite a tradition here in France and one we have thoroughly enjoyed getting into the habit of doing! In Paris, Sophie started us off with champagne, in Bretagne Alain and Claude introduced us to a cherry and pigment aperitif which was very nice and so it has continued. This morning we had breakfast and said goodbye to Quitterie, Marie, Jean Marc and Berthille. Then we drove to Rocamadour, it took 5 hours! Rocamadour is a medieval village with a castle built into a hillside with a village down below. The town wasn't very busy which was good so we could wander around without crowds. this morning we got up for breakfast and said goodbye to Marie and her family. We packed the car up and drove 5 hours to Rocamadour. When we got to Rocamadour we checked in to our hotel and went for a walk to the chateau, down the path of prayers and into the village at the bottom of the hill.
