This morning we had breakfast and said goodbye to Quitterie, Marie, Jean Marc and Berthille. Then we drove to Rocamadour, it took 5 hours!
Rocamadour is a medieval village with a castle built into a hillside with a village down below. The town wasn't very busy which was good so we could wander around without crowds. We visited the chateau, then we went down a whole lot of steps where we saw prayer sites with the story of Jesus crucifix. Then we went down to the village where we had an ice cream, I got framboise and citron flavoured sorbet. We walked down a bit more and looked at some shops, I bought a sling shot and some lollies and Dad bought the same Swiss Army knife as me but in blue. I also saw a little hand gun and sword that I wanted to buy but the shop was closed when we went back.
We had a drink at the bar and went to a really fancy restaurant. I had potatoes and steak and sorbet, framboise and citron. It was really nice.
Today was a really good day and tomorrow I am going to see some caves and stay in a house in a forest.
