The aperitif hour is quite a tradition here in France and one we have thoroughly enjoyed getting into the habit of doing! this morning we got up for breakfast and said goodbye to Marie and her family. We packed the car up and drove 5 hours to Rocamadour. When we got to Rocamadour we checked in to our hotel and went for a walk to the chateau, down the path of prayers and into the village at the bottom of the hill. We awoke to yet another rainy day but we were hopeful that with travelling South East to Rocamadour the weather would improve.
