Yesterday we came to a little house built in the 1800s and the walls are so thick that the wifi doesn't work if you leave the room. There is also a gigantic nuclear plant with tons of smoke coming out of it and it was being cooled down by the river beside it so that it doesn't explode.
Today we went to a cave where they grow mushrooms and then another cave where there was lots of carvings of buildings from this area. They would have been really hard to make.
For lunch we went to a bakery and my dad nearly killed me because he went on the wrong side of the road. I chose a chicken salad and we ate by the side of a river. There was a little punting boat there and me and my sister jumped in and pushed the boat out and we floated back in.
We went to a castle called chateau Breze. It is actually two castles, one underground and the other built on top. It was really cold in the underground one. There were a lot of holes where the soldiers would shoot out of. People who live underground in caves are called Troglodytes. Then we went up to the other castle and we went into bedrooms with furniture and books. We also saw two dungeons. Dad locked us in but he let us out.
On the way home we went to a winery and my mum and dad got to try a whole lot of wine and my sister and I tried apple juice. We bought a bottle. Dad is cooking sausages on the BBQ for dinner. Tomorrow I am going to Puy du Fou. It is where they do shows of the medieval times it's going to be really fun.

Kirsten Glad you survived Brodie. Samuel and Lauren got locked in one of those dungeons too. Glad you escaped! Have an awesome time at Puy de Fou. The roman gladiators and the birds of prey were great shows- infact they all were. Looking forward to hearing all about it
Granny and Grandpa Well done Brodie - great blog!
