Yesterday we arrived in the Loire and as we were driving of the motorway we saw a nuclear plant which was a bit of a surprise but luckily we weren't staying close to it. We then drove up the road a bit and reached the house that we were staying in. It's was an old limestone brick house that dates back to the 1800. We then after dropping our luggage of went over the bridge and into a nother little village for dinner. Today we went to a mushroom cave were they grow mushrooms, then we went to a carving cave were a man spent 3 years underground sculpting landmarks that are around the Loire, they were really cold. Then we stopped for lunch at a river side were we found a boat that was chained up to a tree we hopped in it and pushed our selves out and then we got pulled back in, unfortunately I got stung by stinging nettle. We also nearly had a car crash as dad forgot which side of the road to drive on !!!. We Then drove to a castle called Breze and it had a massive moat around it which wasn't full with water so you could walk around it after that we drove to a wine tasting place and got to try some apple juice because we weren't allowed the wine. We then drove home and had dinner.

Kirsten Bet Dad got a fright in the car - it's so easy to do! Glad you made it to Chateau Breze. It was one of Samuel and Lauren's favorite chateaux. Did you go in the dove turret? Loving your blog
Love, Granny and Grandpa Good blog Spphie and good to hear from you. Did you enjoy la tarte aux fraises? Claude's cooking sounded delicious. Have fun.
