Day 5 Quebec - Montreal.
Another early start and ready for our short tour of Quebec then another long drive to Montreal. This was going to be a small trip lasting aprox 2hrs. We arrived into Montreal by driving towards the Olympic stadium, It realy looks impressive the roof use to open but now its broken so it stays closed they have fixed it 3 times but it keeps breakin down so they have left it. We got off at the stadium as we were meeting up with our guide we headed off downtown and then over the Jacques Cartier bridge to the little island there are rollercoasters on one side and on the other was the F1 Grand Prix race track this was unreal as i have only seen it on telly and here we are going around at 30mph on a tour coach, the track is very small so fair play to the drivers of F1. after passing the casino it was back over the bridge once photo's had been taken we headed downtown we stopped off at the Notre Dame Basilica it looks great pity we could'nt go inside though. we then headed to St Joseph's Oratory which looks amazing to say this builing started off as a wooden builing. Then it was a stop off to Mont Royal the view is fantastic you could see as far as the eye can see over Montreal. Once the tour was over we headed to the Omni Hotel to check in the hotel was fine, later on Martyn and I headed downtown for a bite to eat we passed the underground city and had a look this place is vast it comes alive in the winter when all above is covered in snow? after our meal we headed back to the hotel since it was gonna be another early drive this time the capital Ottawa.
