Day 3
Monday New york - Boston
Up early to collect the coach which is going to take us on our journey, this drive to Boston was to last 390+ miles going through Harlem, Bronx, both run down but full of history but needs upgrading but if this happened would it lose its mistic? the rolling open greens of connecticut then on to massachusetts wow this country is vased. The vast openest of the American country side are a great sight our tour guide Robert who was a South African who had been living in the u.s.a. for 13 years had a wealth of knowledge given us a history lesson as we traveled ,well after nearly 6 hrs there it was in the distance the Boston skyline iv always wanted to know were the famous Boston red Sox played baseball and there it was we where driving right past the stadium it was huge. then before we new it down the tunnel then down town and a 1hr stop off at quincy market, it reminds me of covent garden in London we checked out the sights on foot then it was back on the coach to check in to the hotel. we checked in to the Double Tree hotel which is on the river overlooking the Boston skyline the room was a suite it was a great looking room. After a few hrs rest then we took a taxi downtown to Quincy Market and found a neat place to eat {d*** eatrie} were I ate king crab whilst watching the Red Sox on the telly box, well as they say when in Boston? around midnight it was time to head back it was gonna be a early one because tomorrow we where going to Quebec via Vermont.
