Well up early leaving at 07.30 for Quebec passing through Boston city includding passing through stop offs shown from yesterday eg Bunker Hill, Harvard, Uss Constitution,Boston Massacre site and a lot more. Could have done with a bit more time in Boston. Back to today this was another long drive passing through the country side the trees were changing colour this was onne of the many reasons for coming at this time as the colours were changing from reds, yellows, orange. Around 1/2 way through the journsey we stopped of in the beautiful mountain range called Franconia this resort is a natrual ski resort and looked great there was no snow on the mountain but you could see the cable car also were the ski runs are after about 1hr we where on our way once more. We arrived into Quebec at around 17.30hrs crossing the mighty St Lawerence this is huge.Into the city we passed the land mark of Quebec Chateau Frontencac which is in the upper town, with the lower town beeing a typical looking French town with shops and cafe's dotted around this city looks and feels great Once checked in to our hotel which was a new modern hotel called Hotel Puri which was clean and tidy the room had an strange view on tha right the mountains on the left a Rothmans ciggie factory? In the evening we went for a walk to the old town walking down the road passing under a motorway bridge which the support have to be painted this is done by art student to brighten it up and they have done great work looking like painting of past masters. The local train station looks likes a french chateau. The food was super i tried out local Stag which was done in a hot pot its very much like beef? Quebec at this time has snow but it had'nt arrived yet maybe a sign of gobal warming? At around 23.00hrs it was time to head back as it was an early rise for our escorted tour of Quebec.
