Day 25: The heat is full-on here in Broome, so it was another swim to start the day...we could definately get used to that!
After refreshing, we headed to the 'pearl merchants' street and partook in the Pearl Luggers Tour, which gave us great history on the pearl divers of Broome. A very interesting tour and gave us more appreciation of the foundations Broome was built on.
We then ventured to Port, which is the port of Broome. It was stinking hot, but not all of us were as keen as Riley to cool off (see photo)! Where the port has been built, would have to be the best part of Broome...beautiful. I even saw a sea turtle from the pier!
A quick drive back to Cable Beach, and Darcy, Riley and myself claimed aboard the blue camels and enjoyed a saunter up the beach. It was great! Darcy even got a camel to himself and was laying back like he was an expert.
A BBQ ended a great day. Maybe Broome isn't so bad after all?!
