Day 36: Emma Gorge, El Questro Wilderness Park Craig gets his X-ray and is given the all clear...put your foot up and rest it. Not going to happen! We head off to Emma Gorge, which is part of El Questro Wilderness Park, on the Gibb River Rd. It's bitumen all the way to the gorge, so it's an easy run. And well worth the trip. Day 35: It's a lazy day today...the boys are off catching lizards and Craig and I enjoy 'The Biggest Morning Tea' around the pool. The temperature rises quickly here, so its not long before we are in the pool. Later we decide that Craig needs to get his heel looked at, as it is not getting better! Day 34: Mary Pool RA is a distant memory, as we head off to Kununurra at 8.00am. We notice a change in the weather...it is hot, hot, hot once again. But the landscape is still as beautiful as ever! Day 33: Our aim is for Mary Pool Rest Area, as we are heading back to Kununurra. I am sad to be leaving the West Kimberley...it is a beautiful place. I've never seen such amazing rock formations and traversed such incredible country. And the red...it never ends. For lunch we stop at Geikie Gorge and have hotdogs. Day 32: Bell Gorge, Silent Grove. So we are leaving this beautiful place. The ranger has informed us that unless we have provisions for five days and are prepared to be stuck in one place for that time, we have to go back to Derby. We don't. So we're going back.
