I grab breakfast with Maria at 10, supposedly after she had finished yoga. However she informs me that she slept in and did not make it to class, poor effort. We sit and chat for a couple of hours over breakfast, she is 44, but doesn't look it. She is an interesting person when you get her on her own, it is only when she is surrounded by others that she becomes quiet and boring. Ha. As I am planning to leave Lucky comes along and he and Maria plan to go somewhere this afternoon. I plan to go to a coffee shop and read my lovely book all about the Cambodian genocide. Cheery.

This is exactly what I do with my afternoon after walking around trying to find somewhere that has free wifi. It is quite the chore here, in fact Thailand in general isn't so generous with the old wifi. It isn't like in Vietnam where you could guess the password, 12345678, or 87654321. No, here we have a more complex password on all the wifi and many places only give you the password if you spend a certain amount in the shop. My hostel has free wifi, but I don't fancy being cooped up in there. So I get a place by the canal, with a view of part of the old city wall. It's a busy enough street, with loud tuk tuks and Motos whooshing past on a regular basis. In fact it gets so loud at on stage that I have to move inside as I cant take the audio bombardment any more.

I grab some coffee later on in the evening after my dinner of Pad Thai. There isn't really anything else I want to see in Chaing Mai, so I am just waiting until the 4th so I can go on my visa run. Perhaps I'll rent a bike tomorrow and go for a cycle round the old town. Maybe find a good spot to take in a sunset. Yes. That sounds like a good way to spend my last day.
