The morning doesn't come quickly as I am constantly waking up with the heat of the place. I don't know why I didn't buy any water, might have been a good idea considering I knew what I was coming back to. We are up at 9, because sleeping any more is just not an option. A combination of the beer from last night, the terrible sleep and the lack of water is making me feel less than fresh today. We go somewhere to get a drink, a fanta will make me feel better. It doesn't. While we sit there we notice a young boy out on the beach, he has a bucket and is catching some worms. He throws this stuff over the sand that the worms must eat and the he wheeks them out of the sand and in to his bucket. It is quite the operation and in my fragile state this manages to hold my attention for quite some time. I run down to get a photo of him. Amazing.

We head back to the place that is supposed to be empty at 10. It's not. We haven't got a shower or anything and are feeling pretty s***. Miao is proper rippin' and so we storm troop down the beach to see what else we can find. We check many places and are just about getting to the end of motivation when we find a place that does the job. Right on the beach front and nice at a reasonable price. Perfect, except for the fact that we have to head all the way back to get our bags and then back again in the heat of the sun. Anyway we make it and upon having a shower angry Miao has been transformed back to herself, thankfully. I decide to jump in to the pool, which is just a small path away from the beach. I relax in the pool looking out to sea, through the palm trees, feeling refreshed and content. It's times like this that I remember how lucky I am to be living it up out here, and it further goes to strengthen my feeling that I can achieve whatever I want.

We relax all day in the pool after having some lunch at a place just beside where we are staying. Of course we had plenty of locals coming up to us to try and offer us snorkelling tours around the island. This appears to be the tour of choice, and one that everyone is telling me they can do for me. I'm not overly interested and neither is Miao and so we decide not to bother. In to the pool and a beer ordered and waiting for the sunset. Again, nothing. I don't know what the story is here, I just can't seem to get a sunset. Slightly disappointed we get changed and head out for something to eat. We are quite a bit further along the beach than we were yesterday and so there are a lot more places to choose from. Something that you have to watch out for when you order food in Indonesian is that some places don't add the 10 % tax and 6% service charge on the menu, so you have that surprise when it comes to paying. I don't really understand it, but whatever. We find this nice little place and stop for dinner. The food was great, though there wasn't enough for hungry Miao who ordered some spring rolls after the main due to the hunger factor. Ha. We walk back along the beach and go on a crab hunt. Loads of the wee guys, all zipping across the sand, though none of the hermit crabs that I had seen back in Ko Muk. Back to our nice AC room, where hopefully we will get a good nights sleep.
