I feel like absolute s*** today. Cold has set in full time, throat has closed over and I can't breath through my nose. I blame Purple as she had a cold when she came to the hostel and now she has kindly passed it on to me, how generous.

Today I am trying to decide what I should do in China, or should I even stay. When I planned to come here it was only for the great wall, I hadn't even looked at anything else. The plan was then to go straight to Vietnam afterwards, though from talking to Mario/Darko and various other people in the hostel perhaps I should stay a little longer and take in some of the other sights. I have a look on the internet for some inspiration as I can't remember half the names that people tell me. It becomes clear that internet only research is not the way to go. I mean it is great for getting a bit of inspiration, but not for hardcore research as there is so much conflicting information.

There are many possibilities running through my mind as to what to do, but I can't think clearly because i'm not feeling the best. Perhaps i'll go and see the pandas, maybe the terracotta warriors, maybe do some trekking. I have also seen a national park that was the inspiration for Avatar, i'll be doing my best to see that, as i'm quite the fan of Avatar. Maybe i'll paint myself blue and get a spear to really get in to character. Who knows?
