Well, if you are not a Potter fan, you might as well pass up this post. We've spent the day walking to the Victoria station, waiting in line for the coach (read that as bus in US) and then the drive was over an hour to the Warner Brothers Studio. But it was worth it!! The tour was amazing - even for someone who is aware of all the moving parts of putting together a film. I took loads of pictures, as did Joey - and halfway thru the tour i stopped for a butter beer! (If you are wondering how it tastes, I am happy to report that it did not taste like butter, but butterscotch ...)
Photos and captions should remind you of the sets! (My first attempt to add them - apologies if I flub this..) these are but a few of my pix - and Joey's shots should look better!
After the bus ride back to London,we walked back towards the apartment and spied a restaurant called the Cambridge St. Cafe, attached to the Artists Residence. Joey had a ribeye and mashed potatoes that were yummy and I had tender mussels with shallots, chips, and a Bordeaux.
Then back to the apartment to do laundry. Sigh… Chores must be done.
