Yesterday we spent repacking and organizing our suitcases, but today we left the QM2 and took a coach to Victoria station, then ad taxi to the apartment. Of course more organizing and a quick walk around Victoria.. We got as far as Westminster Abbey and my feet gave out. We passed the new Scotland Yard complex and there were LOTS of police hanging round. We asked what was up and were told of student riots yesterday and more planned tonight - they suggested we clear out of that area and even stay indoors after 6pm! So we took a taxi back to our apartment and We had dinner at a local pub! The Marquis - I had fish and chips, Joey had a burger. Since neither of us drinks beer Imhad wine and Joey asked for lemonade ..he was given Sprite. While sitting and finishing the wine we started talking to a lady sitting next to us who wanted to know where we are stAying and of course I said an Airbnb apartment! When I told her we had an Airbnb suite in Hollywood she wanted our card .. another connection! After dinner, we walked to a market and purchased breakfast provisions. Now if only I can figure out how to get the mophie keyboard to work I could type much faster!!
