Last night was a pretty rough crossing / the seas have been pretty choppy for days. Today we are wending our way towards Southhampton.. I wanted to start the day with a lecture by the resident rabbi but neglected to note the time change and missed it... So we headed to breakfast before the rhumba class. If was nice and slow so Joey and I were able to do it together. We had been invited to a Mariner society luncheon (that means we've taken a Holland America ship previously) and last night we signed up for a wine tasting at 2pm - so with champagne at lunch and a wine tasting booked, you can imagine my surprise when the ship's loudspeaker said that the dancing with the Stars cha cha cha competition was at 3pm! (I expected cancellation due to rough seas). So, slightly soused, I went through the competition, missed a few of the transitions. And received three 10s!! So that means after dinner I have a 7pm rehearsal and a 9:30 perform front of the entire ship..... Tonight I will let you know how I did...
